“ Awesome place- who would have thought I could get my project done at a cafe?! I walked in with no appointment wondering if they could help me engrave a tea box and the lady working was so nice and helpful. They did it no problem and it was ready in 2 days. All other businesses were quoting me 160 (Hot Pop Factory) and this cutie cafe charged me 48. Support your local creative outlets 3 ”
“ I love everything about The Maker Bean Cafe! I’d already been going to experience the great coffee shop vibes as well as their seasonal artisan markets but I recently had my daughter’s 10th birthday party in their maker space and it was a huge hit! I’ve also had them make a custom soap stamp for me for my business and it turned out incredibly! The owners are lovely, as are the staff. I definitely recommend them ”
“ Spacious and cute coffee shop located on bloor street. They had a lot of seating and the vibes were welcoming with lots of natural light. We ordered the matcha lattes which were good. Overall a great find and can’t wait to be back! ”
“ What an adorable concept! The staff are friendly, there's neat things to look at and the blueberry muffin tea latte is delicious! ”
“ I got some laser cutting done here for an architectural model. They did a perfect job with a quick turnaround. I would recommend them for not only makers who want to build custom objects, but also to seasoned professionals looking for reliable laser cutting service. Will absolutely be my go-to for any of my jobs that fit on their laser bed until I can justify buying my own one. ”
“ The grilled cheese tasted really good, with ketchup. The mac and cheese tasted good and awesome. The croissant was incredibly yummy with the sauce and the ham. It tasted very good. Diorama - It was hard but fun. It was hard but in the end it turned out really cool. It was very very cool because we got to pick our animals. I picked a capybara. It was very good. It was fun putting the pom poms inside. They sell very good stuff. I bought a creeper. On behalf of my Grade 2 class, I'd like to thank the Maker Bean Cafe for hosting us yesterday and accommodating our student who came late. Thank you! ”
“ All the wholesomeness wrapped up in a cozy coffee shop I got to know about the Maker Bean Cafe through a former colleague/now friend since she’s a frequent customer here. And besides that, my company bought me a ticket to one of their laser cut workshops as a birthday gift, so I have more than one excuse to check out the place. The environment was filled with interesting laser cut and 3D printed decorations, which was so cool. I didn’t get to try the baked goods, but the peach lemonade (a complementary drink I got as part of the workshop ticket) was so refreshing. Chris the owner was so welcoming and by talking to him, you can tell he’s super passionate about his coffee shop. The laser cut workshop was fun and super beginner friendly so you don’t need design skills to join. Personally I’m a graphic designer, so I got a bit surprised that the attendees had to use Illustrator CS2 (an... old version of a design program) to create the design. It all worked out for me, so I don’t have any complaints! At the end of the session, I got to make a coaster-shaped laser cut item to bring home. If you’re in the mood for trying something new, I highly recommend their workshops. ”
“ They also do 3d printing. I have gotten there 3d printed Pokemon characters, greeting cards. They have amazing treats. Don’t know what it’s called but it’s a scone with sprinkles on it so delicious. They also have an amazing iced peach tea lemonade, if I sit down inside and drink my lemonade I end up getting two it’s that delicious. They have really good tea lattes. I brought my mom once she got a coffee and she said it was delicious. ”
